Touch of Gold Marching Band

The Touch of Gold Marching Band at Denison High School is one of the largest student organizations on campus with 150 students involved. The Marching Band consists of students from all concert bands, as well as the color guard. Marching Band begins before the school year starts with summer band during the month of August, which all participants are required to attend. Once school starts, the Marching Band rehearses daily after school and performs at the pregame in Touchdown Alley and halftime of all football games. The Marching Band competes in 4-5 competitions on Saturdays during the fall in the University Interscholastic League (UIL) circuits.
