1948 Denison High School band. A proud part of a long tradition of music and performing arts!
In 1953, Denison’s own Dwight D. Eisenhower was elected President. The Denison High School band was invited to march in his Inauguration Parade! What an honor!

1961 “Touch of Gold” Band. Small, yet full of pride, this was one of the smallest bands that Denison High School has ever had!
1971 Homecoming Parade.
This is the 1985 Touch Of Gold performing cool set at the UIL competition!
1991-92 “Touch of Gold” Band in the honorable Orange Bowl Parade. They went on to spend Christmas at Disney World in Orlando, Florida!
2003-04 “Touch of Gold”.
Denison marching past rival school, Sherman High, at the “Battle of the Axe”. This annual game is a part of the longest school rivalry in Texas history - over 100 years!
