Mr. Tanner Ellis

Mr. Ellis serves as the Assistant Band Director at Scott Middle School. His main instrument is the euphonium, and he is currently in his 3rd year of teaching.

Mr. Ellis studied Music Education at the University of North Texas, performed with numerous ensembles, and marched with UNT's Green Brigade. He has worked with multiple world class euphonium players including U.S. Military Band musicians, Dr. David Childs, and Dr. Brian Bowman.

​Outside of band, he likes to spend time with friends, watching movies, playing games, and being with his wife Emma and his 1-year-old son, Theodore. Sting 'em!
