Wind Ensemble
Director: Jordonn Searcy
The Wind Ensemble is the top middle school band at Scott Middle School. This band is primarily made up of 8th graders but is for everyone who works hard and wants to be successful. Every student in this band will audition for the Texoma All-District band and All-Region. They will also participate in Solo and Ensemble as well as UIL. Before and after school sectionals are required and are taken as a weekly grade.
The Wind Ensemble has may opportunities to perform across Denison. Some of those performances include the Eisenhower Birthday Celebration, SMS football games, DHS football games, pep rallies and nursing homes. All performances are test grades.
