Mrs. Searcy began her studies at the University of Arkansas before finishing her Bachelor's of Music degree at Texas A&M Commerce in 2014. Mrs. Searcy has taught music at a multitude of levels, including elementary, intermediate, middle, and high school. 

Mrs. Searcy has previously worked in Denison ISD serving as the Assistant Band Director at Scott Middle School and B. McDaniel Intermediate School. She was named one of the BMC Teachers of the Year in 2024. 

Mrs. Searcy (Pronounced Sir-Cee) lives in Anna with her Husband and their fur-babies. She is thrilled to be returning to teach many of her former students at Scott Middle School this year!
